It can be used for both freestanding and jar candles. It is recommended for fiber candles between 1.5-4.5 cm in diameter (slightly larger than the diameter of tealights), but it can also be used for candles in jars up to 7 cm in diameter, because as the wax heats through, it thaws the contents of the whole jar well.

The sizes are recommendations, which may differ depending on the purity and type of wax.
